On March 24, 2014,  I suffered a stroke that left me unable to use the right side of my body. I couldn't feel my face, I couldn't write, and my speech was impaired. I was 33 weeks pregnant with my son. Who saved us both was my 5 year old daughter who was able to call for help.  Six weeks later I delivered my son, River, healthy and naturally.

I am now on the road to recovery. I can walk, I can talk and write.  I occasionally lose feeling in my leg and arm but I am learning to cope.

This is my story and how i am taking this second chance to live life to the fullest with no regrets.  To enjoy each day and not worry about the small things in life.

Why name the blog Rayne to River?  Rayne is the middle name of my third child whom we call Wolf Rayne and River is the name of my son.  The biggest transformations I have had was the birth of these two kids.  Their births have changed my life forever.

Who am I?
